Time flies, I have been living in this world for the 24th year now, and my holiday is also coming to an end...

This week was just lovely, thank you my friends for coming to my party; Jess, Janice, Irene, ysk and Christina, Janet, Peter, Chris, Ah Tung, Edward and Sally.  Thank you guys! Thanks Sharon for your sms/voice mail/email/ msn msg...haah...yea, we will be meeting next week don't worry

Last but not least, thank you my darling, for organising such a wonderful party for me! for all the lovely surprises you have been giving me throughout the week; for the beautiful bonquet of flowers, for the surprise trip and present, for the delicious dinner.  I am so happy to have you in my life 

I know I should have updated my xanga more frequently..hahah...but life it's just way too overwhelming!

I think I have finally settled and coped the life as an intern, and i started to get used to being called 3am in the morning to take a SB (neonatal bilirubin) or sometimes just to re-write the stupid prescription (yeah, the nurses have nth better to do apparently). To me, these are now blessings...hahah....i have to thank God if the 3am call is not a 1 mth old baby with high fever..which means I have to do sepsis workup including the horrible blood culture, setting a HB, LP, SPT/cat urine...and that would take me 1-2 hrs!        -____-

And as I am more confident in setting HB on an infant/kid (ok, those 1yr olds are still nightmares), and doing blood cultures seem to have become a routine, I started to appreciate the art of paediatrics! hahah... instead of taking as much prophylatic sleep as i could possibly get, i realise i have been going to wards to review the cases i have admitted earlier in the night; for the first time in the month, I am actually worried about the bilirubin level of the babies which i have just taken blood from; everything is getting much much more interesting!

But if it hadn't been you, I would never have coped so quickly. Thank you so much for staying with me all the time, for making my long endless call nights less unbarable; for making me smile all the time; for giving me those surprises You are simply the best!!

missing you already...have fun dear!

after 5 days of life support classes, I could finally get some sleep!! For the past 5 days I had to get up at 6:30am in the morning, that's even earlier than the days when I was in the surgery rotation! chee sin ga...but it was a good experience, suddenly miss those days when the whole class had lessons together.

And...I am going to Greece tonight! Talked to my little brother last night, we were planning what kind of entertainment to bring, haha..it has been so long since I have last seen my little brother, he was home last dec, o gosh! I have not seen him in 2007! Can't wait to see him tmr!!!

So glad to see you on monday, it has been a long long time since we gals did some crazy things together haha...3 of us should have got that dress! And you look cute! hahah...so cute! and healthier...gosh, I wish I could live in some other countries for a couple of months.
